skilled migration - visa processing time
State Nomination applications - DIAC has indicated that state nominated applications will be allocated to case officer within 10 business days.
CSL Occupation – If you have an occupation on the CSL we estimate that your visa application will be processed between 6-9 months.
MODL Occupations - If you have an MODL occupation but it is not on the CSL it will only be allocated to case officer after ALL state nominated and CSL applications have been allocated. Currently no one can give an indicative processing time with any accuracy. WE are of the opinion that this is likely to be well in excess of 12 months.
NON MODL Applications not on the MODL will take a significant to be allocated to case officers. As a result, processing times for such applications may be over 2 years.
